An ad friend called me one day and asked me to donate some animation to a multimedia play that he was writing. Falling Short was a play about the adventures of two east Texas rednecks as they hunt down pieces of the space shuttle Columbia disaster. The direction I got was, “I need about 60 seconds of animation of a pig… eating a hotdog.” How could I say no to that? Blending a mixture of hand-drawn, digital art, frame-by-frame animation, and motion graphics I brought to the Galaxy Theatre a unique animation for a VERY unique play.
